Campus Response Team, We are students volunteering to make our campus a safer place for everybody! CRT attends special events and many campus pub nights. We are prepared to deal with many health and safety emergencies. You'll recognize our red gear as we patrol to ensure that everybody enjoys safe fun.

 

 

Co-op Student Services, Do you need advice on the co-op process? People here can help you by providing Ranking Day Relief in the Tatham Centre. We also publish the First-Year Co-op Handbook and setup Watpubs in cities all over the world (http://watpubs.uwaterloo.ca/) where UW co-op students can meet and socialize while on work terms.

 

 

The Food Bank, Strapped for cash? Need some food? Don't go hungry! Come to the student-run Food Bank to get some groceries for free! It's confidential. You should never have to skip a meal because you can't afford one. Your brain needs nutritious energy to excel in school!

 

 

G.L.O.W, You are not alone. Whether you're feeling confused or confident about your sexuality, GLOW is for you! There are weekly discussion groups and social evenings, a resource library, as well as the always popular Boys & Boiz and Girls & Grrrls Nights at the Bombshelter! Come to meet others who are going through the same thing as you.

 

 

International Student Connection, This service promotes student interaction by organizing all kinds of events and trips. The events include beginning and end of term parties, bi-weekly country presentations, movie nights featureing international movies and pub nights. As well, the trips include the Niagara Falls trip in September, Oktoberfest in October, trip to Ottawa and Montreal during the Thanksgiving break, trip to Montreal Jazz Festival in July and a trip to see the frozen Niagara Falls in February among others.

 

 

Off Campus Dons, It can be a challenge to live off campus during first year! Off-Campus Dons are here to help you adjust and thrive! You can meet other off-campus students and upper year students are available to answer your questions and to show you the ropes!

 

 

WUSC's unique Student Refugee Program (SRP), helps refugee students resettle in Canada and pursue their studies in an environment free of violence and fear.

 

 

UW Sustainability Project, We bring students together from all faculities to work on environmental related projects. We are also dedicated to raising environmental awareness issues on campus. We provide information on ways to lessen your environmental footprint and explain how you can get active in environmental initiatives.

 

 

Women's Centre, This is a great place for every woman and man at UW to hang out and chat about women's issues. This is a comforatable and inclusive environment to relax in. You can also sign out books or magazines from our library, watch a movie or attend a workshop. The centre belongs to you; come and make it what you want it to be.
