Whether due to war or political repression, students are often persecuted, imprisoned or forced into exile, joining the ranks of the world's estimated 16 million refugees and asylum seekers. They have virtually no opportunity for post-secondary education.

WUSC's unique Student Refugee Program (SRP), helps refugee students resettle in Canada and pursue their studies in an environment free of violence and fear.

It's a program that changes their life and yours, and this Fall 2009, Waterloo is welcoming two new students to study in Canada at our University.
